Returns Policy

1. Your right to cancel an online order

If you purchase from us online, by phone, or by email, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day after you receive your goods unless an exception applies.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must fill out the return form: https://furniturenextday.com/pages/refund-or-returns with your order number and details of the item(s) you wish to return.

Once you have notified us of cancellation, you must return the goods to us within 14 days.

2. Return costs for change-of-mind returns

If you are returning an item because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, including any collection costs where applicable.

We recommend that all returned items are adequately packaged and insured in transit, as they remain your responsibility until safely received by us.

If a delivery is aborted due to the customer not being available, refusing delivery, providing incorrect delivery details, or failing to accept the goods at the arranged delivery time, a €100 aborted delivery charge will apply. This charge must be paid before the delivery can be rebooked for the same order.

Orders cancelled after dispatch may be subject to a cancellation charge to cover delivery, handling, and return costs already incurred.

3. Condition of returned items

Returned items must be sent back complete and in the same condition in which they were received.

You may inspect the goods as you would in a showroom, but you must not use, assemble, damage, alter, or handle them more than is reasonably necessary to assess their nature, characteristics, and suitability.

If returned goods show signs of use, damage, assembly, missing parts, staining, scratches, or handling beyond what is reasonably necessary, we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund to reflect any loss in value.

No refund can be processed for incomplete returns where essential parts, fittings, instructions, or components are missing.

4. Refunds

Once your returned goods have been received and inspected, and your return is approved, we will process your refund using the same payment method used for the original order unless otherwise agreed.

Where a valid cancellation right applies, refunds will be made in accordance with your statutory rights. This may include the purchase price and the standard delivery charge paid at the time of order, but excludes any additional charges for upgraded or non-standard delivery services.

Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods back, or where appropriate, proof that they have been returned.

5. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, defective, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@furniturenextday.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs where possible.

Where goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will deal with the matter in line with your legal rights. In such cases, you will not be responsible for return or collection costs where applicable.

6. Non-returnable items and exceptions

The right to cancel does not apply to certain goods, including items made to a customer’s specific requirements, clearly personalised items, or other goods exempt under applicable consumer law.

Where an item is made to order, special order, customised, or otherwise non-returnable, this will be stated clearly on the relevant product page or at the point of purchase.

Opened Mattresses: Once a vacuum-packed mattress has been unrolled or removed from its protective plastic, it is generally not eligible for return due to health and hygiene reasons, unless the product is faulty or damaged

7. Returns

If your item(s) are purchased from stock and you find that they are not suitable, we can often accept a return request for these items. In this event, the original delivery charge will not be refunded and an ‘uplift charge’ would apply. This can often be more expensive than our standard delivery service which is partly subsided by your purchase.

We are unable to accept return requests for ‘Special Order’ or ‘Made-to-order’ goods.

Please note that clearance items are excluded, and, for hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of all type of mattresses or beds unless found faulty.

8. Cancellation

Any goods which are ‘Special Ordered’, or ‘Made-to-Order’, and are in-progress with our supplier/s cannot be cancelled. We will only consider cancellations/changes to your order if we receive your written request to do so before the goods have commenced production or transportation by the manufacturer. We cannot accept cancellations after this stage.
