We've carefully selected our favourite boucle and velvet fabrics that we know you'll adore! Boucle is a durable, heavy fabric made from spun loopy yarn, which gives it its highly textured appearance. Boucle is a polyester blend and has a low liquid absorption rate, therefore is a perfect choice for upholstery as it is easy to clean. Velvet is one of the most desirable upholstery fabrics. Boucle is particularly popular for its warmth and luxurious feel. Despite its delicate appearance, boucle fabric can be incredibly durable, making it a perfect choice for your next sofa
Velvet:Velvet is a luxurious fabric characterised by a short, dense pile that gives a soft, smooth and lustrous texture, making it a classic choice for elegant and cosy furnishings. Velvet has a unique sheen and depth of colour due to the way the pile fibres catch and reflect the light. The soft folds and draping of velvet can further contribute to this effect, resulting in variations in colour intensity and brightness.
